Karin Wörnle is working as a Treasury Operations Specialist at Airbus. She has over 15 years’ experience in Cash Management and covers in her role the liquidity management and financial settlements of Airbus group since April 2022. Prior to joining Airbus, Karin oversaw the Cash Management for UniCredit Bank in China and worked as International Cash Management Sales Specialist in Germany being responsible for different corporate client portfolios across the globe. Besides Corporate Treasury and Banking, Karin has also worked as lecturer providing Cash Management trainings.

Brice Goemans

Corporates Product Owner | Swift

Brice is a seasoned payments professional with over a decade of experience in the financial services industry. His expertise as management consultant at KPMG laid a strong foundation for his subsequent role as a product manager at Swift, where he recently led the ISO 20022 for CBPR+ migration’s global roll-out and contributed to Transaction Manager’s first release. Prior to that, Brice worked on GPI services such as GPI for Corporates, Case Management and Stop and Recall. His current focus involves extending structured and rich data capabilities to enhance corporate-to-bank interactions as part of Swift’s strategy to make cross border payments instant and frictionless end-to-end.

Guillermo De La Fuente

Treasurer | SITA

Guillermo is a seasoned finance expert who brings 35 years of experience in different treasury roles for multiple industries like banking, commodity trading, chemicals, telecommunications and international organizations.

Currently he is a Senior Treasury and Risk Manager at SITA, the World leader in IT and Telecommunications services to the Airline Industry. Prior to that Guillermo was Treasurer at RAIZEN the Commodity trading arm of SHELL for both Sugar and Ethanol as well as Treasurer for JPMORGAN in Geneva where he moved in 1999 to join CERN, the Laboratory for Physical Particles, as head of Treasury and Payments. In Spain, Guillermo worked for large US MNCs like GE, FLUOR and DUPONT.

Guillermo got an MBA from University of Houston and a Master in Finances & Economics at Oviedo
University, specialized with honors in Taxation. He seats at the boards of the ACTSR, EACT, IGTA and also a good citizen participating actively in the Council of his town hall.

In his spare time, he loves skiing in the Alps with his wife and son.

Jasper Wolfs

My name is Jasper Wolfs, I’m 36 years old with a passionate and ambitious nature.

Residing in Utrecht, The Netherlands, I have a fondness for culinary adventures, running, cycling, and football in my leisure time.

With over a decade of experience in the fintech sector, I’ve been instrumental in steering companies through their growth phases, from start-ups to scale-ups. Notably:

As head of product at Franx, I played a pivotal role in scaling up the business within the FX and international trading sector, achieving multimillion-dollar status.

My efforts contributed significantly to the expansion of BLOX, establishing it as the premier cryptocurrency exchange in the Netherlands and the sixth largest in Europe.

At Blanco and currently Surepay, I lead product development initiatives in the KYC and payment fraud arenas, respectively. We are at the innovation vanguard, being the inaugural company to launch a VOP service.

I am captivated by strategy and crafting innovative customer journeys. My goal is to cultivate a vibrant atmosphere that nurtures enthusiasm, where people are inherently motivated and embrace continual improvement.

Academically, I hold a master’s degree in Technical Business Administration and have recently completed an online Computer Science course with Harvard.

Wayne is the former Head of Transaction Banking Solutions for Lloyds Bank and has over 30 years banking experience across multiple regions in both relationship and transaction banking.

He set up Atom Advisory in 2022 and advises clients (corporates, banks and technology firms) on a wide range of topics including strategy, commercialisation, operational frameworks and digitalisation across EMEA, US and APAC.

Dominic Broom is a seasoned fintech and transaction banking executive. He has worked in financial services for over 30 years, predominantly at global banks such as JPMC, ABN AMRO and BNY Mellon, where he was EMEA Head of Treasury Services from 2011 to 2019. He specialises in helping businesses optimise their treasury activities.

Dominic joined Arqit as SVP Working Capital Technology in early 2022, to lead the development of TradeSecure™, the company’s digital negotiable instrument solution. He is a board member of the UK’s Institute of Export & International Trade and a former member of the ICC’s Banking Commission.

Atilla Sztanko

I was educated in the US where I majored in economics, business administration and mathematics.  I started my career as a business analyst.  I later joined GE money, where I was responsible for pricing.  After that for 12 years, I worked as a venture capitalist and private equity investor in Hungary and abroad.  I have vast experience in M&A deals, investments, and managing investments both has a portfolio manager, and also as a managing director.

I joined Kometa 5 years ago, to work on the financing structure of a big investment, CAPEX plan, with a preparation of a potential IPO.  I am also responsible for the company’s ESG transition, where we are considered top of the industry.

Jacques is Air Liquide Deputy Chief Financial Officer. He joined the world leader in Gases, Technologies and Services for Industry and Health in 2011 as Group Treasurer, reporting to the Executive VP & Group CFO.

He now covers more particularly Financing & Treasury, Corporate Finance, Mergers & Acquisitions, Finance mobilities and Sustainable Finance domains for the Group since mid-2019.

Before Air Liquide, he has held several positions in the Treasury and Financing area since 1996, first within the Alcatel-Alsthom Group, then as International Treasurer of Publicis Groupe from 2003. Between 2008 and 2011, he was in charge of structuring and executing risk hedging solutions at Société Générale bank.

Jacques holds a Masters’ degree in Financial Engineering from Panthéon-Sorbonne University, and is a graduate of the French Society of Financial Analysts (SFAF). He is also a member of the Board of Directors of the French Association of Corporate Treasurers (AFTE).

Jean-Paul Servais

Jean-Paul Servais, Chair of the IOSCO Board and Chair of the Belgian Financial Services and Markets Authority (FSMA)

Jean-Paul Servais is the Chair of the International Organization of Securities Commissions (IOSCO) Board since 2022 and Chair of the Belgian Financial Services and Markets Authority (FSMA) since 2011. In this context, he is a board member of several international supervisory bodies including the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) and has held a number of roles within IOSCO including serving as Chair of the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) Foundation Monitoring Board from 2017 to 2023. Previously, Mr Servais chaired the FSMA’s predecessor Banking, Finance and Insurance Commission (CBFA) from 2007 to 2011 and served as Deputy and later Head of Cabinet for the Belgian Minister of Finance Didier Reynders from 1992 to 2002. Mr Servais is also a professor of International Business Law at the Université Libre de Bruxelles.

José Manuel Campa is the Chairperson of the European Banking Authority (EBA), the EU agency responsible for developing technical rules in the areas of banking and payments. He was appointed to this position in 2019 for a five-year renewable term and has been reappointed for a second term starting in 2024. From 2015 to 2019, he served as Global Head of Regulatory Affairs for the Grupo Santander. Prior to that, Campa was Professor of Finance and Economics at IESE Business School and between 2009 and 2011 he served as Secretary of State for the Economy in the Ministry of Economy and Finances of Spain. He holds a Ph.D. in economics from Harvard University

Su Yang

Su Yang is BNP Paribas’ Head of AI for Transactional Banking. His role consists of designing high-value AI business cases for BNP Paribas’ Cash Management and Transactional Banking activities and its delivery including supervision of IT development. He will also lead the group generative AI infrastructure initiatives. Prior to joining BNP Paribas, Su was Chief Data Officer at the General Directorate for Public Finances (DGFiP), where his service oversaw the development and maintainenance of the DGFiP’s Big Data Infrastructure, of AI and data visualisation operations, of data governance and of circulation of data.

Su has an engineering degree from Ecole Polytechnique and a joint master’s degree in data science and cybersecurity from Ecole Telecom and Ecole des Mines in France and he is a member of Corps des Mines.

In his current role at the science and technology MNC, he leads a team of six and is responsible for Merck’s centralised treasury system.

Reinemer, who completed a banking apprenticeship and holds a Bachelor’s degree in finance and banking from the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management, is currently studying computer science in his free time.

Van der Valk is VP, Strategy and Regulatory for Sovos Compliance, which in 2018 acquired TrustWeaver, a leading e-invoicing and e-archiving compliance vendor that Van der Valk co-founded in 2001.

During his 25+ years of experience, Van der Valk has served on executive and supervisory boards for European and international business and organisations. He was elected a World Economic Forum (WEF) Global Leader for Tomorrow in 2000. Earlier in his career, Van der Valk was Deputy Director of Policy and Business Practices at the Paris-based global headquarters of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC). Among other industry roles, Van der Valk is Vice Chair of the Global Exchange Network Association (GENA) and Chair of the Digitalization Dialogue of the Inter-American Centre of Tax Administrations (CIAT).  He is a Dutch and French dual citizen and holds a law degree from the Erasmus University in Rotterdam, Netherlands.

Lirka Bibezic

Veronica joined IMMFA from BNY Mellon where she was European Bank General Counsel and EMEA Head of Public Policy and Regulatory Affairs.

Prior to that, Veronica was at LCH SA in Paris where she was General Counsel and for many years at Credit Suisse, where she performed several roles, including Head of Legal and Compliance for their French and Monaco operations, EMEA Legislative Developments Counsel and Head of the Structured Products Group.

She also spent five years at Goldman Sachs as a lawyer in their Investment Banking Division and commenced her career at Clifford Chance where she qualified as a solicitor into their International Capital Markets Department.

Veronica has worked and lived across Europe and speaks several European languages, including French, Spanish and Italian. She is on the Roll of Solicitors for England and Wales and for the Republic of Ireland.
